Artist Submissions

Thank you for requesting information on DIRTBAG MUSIC RECORD's submission policies and guidelines. Please keep in mind that although we are actively signing many new acts, not all acts can be accepted. A number of weighed factors go into the signing decision at DIRTBAG MUSIC RECORDS. Follow the submission guidelines below and you will receive a detailed review by the head of our A&R department.

Please Follow These Guidelines:

1. 1. Complete an "ARTIST CONTACT SHEET." Click HERE to fill out and submit an ARTIST CONTACT SHEET.
2. 2. After you complete the Artist Contact Sheet, please send:
1. A Physical CD containing a copy of ALL of your musical compositions, in the highest quality possible to:
   DIRTBAG RECORDS
   C/O A&R DEPARTMENT
   3106 Mission Blvd, Suite A-3
   San Diego, California 92109
   
2. Email a copy of all of your musical composition in WAV. format  via YOUSENDIT ( see www.yousendit.com for details) Remember that the WAV. files must be set at a 44.1 khz sample rate, 16 bit sample size and the channel set to stereo.
3. Submitted CDs and WAV. files will not be returned;
4. We accept solo artists, singles, EPs, and full length albums;
5. We accept submissions in all genres of music;
6. You must own or control ALL the copyrights to the submitted works – NO uncleared samples, or cover songs are allowed;
7. After we review your "ARTIST CONTACT SHEET," "CD," and "WAV files," a decision will be made, and our A&R department will be in contact with you.
